Stanislaw Gibinski (1882 - 1971)
Gibinski from his early days worked as a railway-worker. After moving to Krakow, started education at the Krakow's Fine Arts Academy.  He was recruited for the army during WWI and fought in many battles. After the war, Stanislaw Gibinski was still working for railways while continuing his artistic interests at the same time.  He is known for his watercolor paintings of landscapes and daily-life scenes with peasants and fishermen often in winter aura.
