Robert Kaess

Robert Kaess (1923 - 1991) was active/lived in California.  Robert Kaess is known for Painting.

Post War California artist, Robert Kaess studied at the University of California under Margaret Petersen, Erle Loran and John Haley, receiving his B.F.A. in 1948 and M.F.A. in 1950. Kaess traveled to Europe in 1952, 53 to continue his art studies and paint.

Becoming allergic to oil paint in the late 1950's, he returned to University California, Berkeley to study medicine and upon graduation entered the medical field. Kaess painted many fine and original paintings in his short career as an artist.
