Richard Diller

Richard Diller (1890 - 1969) is known for Painting.

Richard Diller (1890-1969) was an Austrian portrait and landscape painter mainly based in Linz.  Diller studied at first at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, his teachers were among others Rudolf Jettmar and Alois Delug.  Later he settled down in Linz (Upper Austria) and worked there even as an art teacher.  Several journeys brought Diller through Europe to North Africa and to the far north: His impressions and experiences had an important impact on his work.

His oeuvre is represented by the following subjects: Portraits, landscapes, townscapes, interiors, flower and animal paintings. (msc)
