Norman Stiegelmeyer

Norman Stiegelmeyer (1937 - 1985) was active/lived in California, Colorado.  Norman Stiegelmeyer is known for Modernist funk imagery.

Norman Stiegelmeyer was born in Denver, CO on October 28, 1937.  Stiegelmeyer was a long-time resident of Mill Valley, CA. A visionary surrealist, he taught for many years at the San Francisco Art Institute. He died in Walnut Creek, California in January 1985. 

Exhibited:  Whitney Museum of American Art, 1967. 

Works held:  Oakland Museum.
