Milos Jiranek

Milos Jiranek (20th century) is known for Painting.

The work of Miloš Jiránek can be set in a relatively short period of less than fifteen years, when in terms of art he went through a rapid development from the initial leanings of Kplenerism through the peculiar treatment of impressionist aesthetics to an expression corresponding to the modern concept on the eve of the First World War. He was inspired by nature, scenes of everyday life in the urban periphery, folklore traditions, but also the environment of sports and physical education. The year 1906, when after his marriage to Antonína Zedníková, he moved to Lumbe's villa in Hradcany, was a crucial period that influenced his further direction as a painter.
