Actually Mihály Vagh Weinmann, called himself Maurice Vagh Weinmann in France, Jewish Hungarian-French painter, engraver, lithographer and illustrator (1899 Budapest to 1986 Paris),

Within 6 years turned to art, from 1914-18 student of the Budapest School of Applied Arts, during the 1st World War one year studio. During World War I he was a studio student of Tihamér Margitay (1859-1922) and Gyula Tornai (1861-1928) for one year, 1924 first personal exhibition, collaboration with his brothers Elemer Vagh Weinmann (1906-1994) and Nandor Vagh Weinmann (1897-1978),

After first successes as an artist, 1930-33, first stayed with his brother Nandor Vagh Weinmann in Paris, 1934 brief return to Budapest,

From autumn 1934 moved with his brothers to Paris, 1936 moved to Haute-Savoie and worked for a time in Annecy, Chamonix and then in Grenoble, 1939 moved to Cannes, due to the outbreak of war
