Artist Biography & Facts
Koji Kamoji

Koji Kamoji was born in 1935.

Koji Kamoji moved to Poland at the end of the 1950's. He did not come here by accident, because his family had been associated with Polish culture for many years - his mother's brother and uncle were involved in translating Polish literature into Japanese.

The artist uses a concise form and natural materials - his works feature wood, linen, cork and stone. They are also characterized by sparing colors, limited to the colors of nature - beige, white, shades of brown.
