Juan Luis Moraza

Juan Luis Moraza (Born 1960) is active/lives in Spain.  Juan Moraza is known for Mixed-media conceptual art sculpture, teaching, writing.

Juan Luis Moraza received the Banesto scholarship in 1990, and the Academy of Rome scholarship, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in 1991.

He is founding member of the CVA collective (1980-1985) together with Marisa Fernández, with whom he created works of a marked conceptualism

At present he combines his work as a sculptor with the teaching and transmission of Art.

He is a professor in the Department of Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Vigo and teaches in the Master of Creation and Research at the University of the Basque Country; being also visiting professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Cuenca, in the Schools of Architecture of Madrid, and Seville, in the Ëcole d´Art de Marsella, in the University of Tirana, in the Institute of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts of Madrid, the University of Buenos Aires, or the Menéndez Pelayo International University ...
