Hermann Gradl

Hermann Gradl (1883 - 1964) was active/lived in Germany.  Hermann Gradl is known for Landscape painting, illustrator, graphic design.

Born in 1883 in Markheidenfeld, Hermann Gradl was a German painter, draftsman, illustrator, designer, craftsperson and graphic artist. He spent his childhood in Dillingen on the Danube and from 1899 was a pupil at the municipal trade school in Munich. At the same time he worked as a designer for the Nymphenburg porcelain factory. In 1900 he was honored with a Grand Prix of the World Exhibition in Paris. In 1901 he changed to the School of Applied Arts in Munich and here from 1905 was in the master class of Theodor Spieß.
