Guillermo Roux (1929 - 2021) was active/lived in Argentina.  Guillermo Roux is known for Surrealist paintings in various mediums including drawings, watercolors, tempera, and collages..

Claudio José María de la Concepción Roux was an Argentine surrealist painter who produced works in various mediums including drawings, watercolors, tempera, and collages. He was born in Argentina and received the Konex Platinum Award in 1982 as the most important surrealist painter in the history of Argentina. Roux's work shows a strong influence of surrealism and includes pieces such as El collar de perlas, La valse, Isolabella, Paisaje con el Etna, and Maja y torero con instrumentos musicales. In the 1990s, he produced a large work entitled Mujer y máscaras, which is on display at the Galerías Pacífico in Buenos Aires. Another large work is La Ronda, a canvas measuring 2.5 meters by 4 meters, which is on display at the entrance of the Palacio Duhau. His last monumental work is La Constitución guía al pueblo, a mural measuring 7 meters by 3.5 meters, created to decorate the legislature of the province of Santa Fe.
