George Gustav Adomeit

George Gustav Adomeit (1879 - 1967) was active/lived in Ohio / Germany.  George Adomeit is known for Landscape, coastal and urban-industry painting.

Born in Germany, George Adomeit came to the United States with his family in 1883, settling in Cleveland, Ohio where he supported himself as a commercial artist and printmaker. He trained in commercial printing, studied at the Cleveland School of Art, and had a successful printing company known as the Caxton Press.
