Etienne Duval (1824 - 1914) was active/lived in Switzerland.  Etienne Duval is known for Landscape painting.

Etienne Duval was a landscape painter who studied painting with Alexandre Diday. He made three trips to Egypt, the first in 1869 where he followed the course of the Nile, the second in 1874 with his painter friend Louis Auguste Veillon, and the last in 1883. Duval and Veillon both enjoyed painting the calm of the Nile, the desert landscapes, and the distant horizons
