Claude S Maybelle

Claude S. Maybelle (1872 - c.1935) was active/lived in New York, California, Oregon.  Claude Maybelle is known for Cartoons, painting.

Claude S. Maybelle was born in Portland, OR in 1872.  During the 1890s Maybelle studied at the San Francisco School of Design and then was a cartoonist for the Chronicle  and Examiner. 

By 1907 he had settled in New York City and was affiliated with the Brooklyn Eagle.  He was still there in 1930.  He is believed to have died in the 1930s.
