Charles Wilda (1854 - 1907) was active/lived in Austria.  Charles Wilda is known for Figure, genre painting.

Charles Wilda was a leading Austrian Orientalist artist who studied at the Academy of Vienna under Carl Muller.  He produced paintings and etchings during his life.  As an Orientalist, Wilda was attracted to the cultures of North Africa and the Arab states, cultures he felt were exotic and romantic.  He exhibited his work frequently at expositions in Berlin and Vienna between 1887-1906.  Wilda's work was also represented at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900.www.odonwagnergallery.com
