Augustus Aaron Wilson (1864 - 1950) was active/lived in Maine / Canada.  Augustus Wilson is known for Folk art, decoy carving.

A lighthouse keeper in the early 20th Century near South Portland, Maine, Augustus Wilson did wildlife woodcarving that is described as suggesting "natural duck movement, and hence having great folk art appeal."  He also did carvings of other wild animals including tigers.
