Auguste-Louis Veillon

Auguste-Louis Veillon (1834 - 1890) was active/lived in Switzerland.  Auguste Louis Veillon is known for Painting.

Auguste Louis Veillon was born in 1834 and died in 1890.  Veillon should pursue a religious career and therefore first studied theology at the College of Lausanne according to the will of his parents.  In 1857 he decided to become a painter and entered into Geneva from the studio of François Diday.  Self-taught embossed study trips to Paris, where he met the famous Orientalist Eugène Fromentin, as well as to London and Rome rounded out his education.
