Ary Brizzi, painter, sculptor and designer, was born in Avellaneda, Argentina. He studied at the Escuela de Bellas Artes Manuel Belgrano and Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes Ernesto de la Cárcova.

Since 1972 he has been a professor at la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón. Brizzi has received 31 national prizes, as well as 5 international prizes which include El Gran Premio del Salón de la Independencia, Quito, Ecuador. Source: Sotheby's.com
