Alan Quigley

Alan Quigley (Born 1950) is active/lives in Ireland.  Alan Quigley is known for Modernist figure, portrait, genre, landscape, still life and waterscene painting.

Alan Quigley was born in Belfast in 1950, training briefly as a picture framer and restorer and as a make-up artist. He had no formal art education but did come to study under renowned Irish artist Dan’O Neill.

It was through O’Neill’s tutelage that he developed his unique style of painting which has saw him gain notability. Quigley has exhibited with The James Gallery and his work is held in private collections throughout Ireland, Canada, the US and London.
