Leon Rene Pescheret (1892 - 1971) was active/lived in Wisconsin, Illinois, Arizona / England.  Leon Pescheret is known for Landscape painting, illustration, etching, decorating.

On 8/26/1962, my in-laws purchased some color etchings from the artist himself in Whitewater, WI.

In the spring of 1964 my wife and I purchased several black and white works at Mr. Pescheret's studio in Whitewater, WI.  He also demonstrated to us how he used the copper plates to create an etching.   (Although some scholars have put his death date at 1916 ) he was alive and well in the Spring of 1964.

We still have all the works purchased by both my in-laws and ourselves.

According to the Social Security Death Index, Leon Rene Pescheret was born March 15, 1892 and died February 1971.
