Alan Daniel Saret (Born 1944) is active/lives in New York.  Alan Saret is known for Mixed media hanging clusters, installations, drawing.

Alan Saret was born in New York in 1944.  

In 1966, Saret studied at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and received a B.A. in architecture.  Then in 1968 he attended Hunter College in New York, NY.  That same year, Saret had his first solo exhibition: ---Mountains of Chance, Documents of Ruralism, Bykert Gallery, New York, NY.  

Though out the 1970's to the 1990's, Saret showed at many different solo and group exhibitions where he travel to multiple locations for the exhibits including: San Francisco, Los Angeles,  Ohio, Lousiana, Chicago, Ottowa Canada and Berlin Germany.  In 1969, Saret was awarded the Guggenheim Award for Sculpture.  Then in 1975, he was given the National Endowment for the Arts Award.

As of 2012, Saret lives and works in New York.
