Tadeusz Szpunar

Tadeusz Szpunar (Born 1929) is active/lives in Poland.  Tadeusz Szpunar is known for Sculpture.

He studied at the Sculpture Department of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts in 1950-1956.  In 1955 he was a co-founder of the Group XIV.  He made his debut at the exhibition "Xawery Dunikowski and his disciples" in Warsaw in 1955.  Since then he has exhibited his works at several dozen group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.  Since 1960 his sculpture reflects mostly sacred architecture.

His works are included, among others, at the National Museum in Krakow and Warsaw and in private collections.  He lives and works in Krakow.
