Olena Mosiyevych was born and raised in Ukraine. After obtaining a PhD in Economics from Kyiv Mohyla Academy, the oldest University in Eastern Europe in 2020, she immersed herself in artmaking and art history, studying Byzantine sacred art at Ukrainian Catholic University in 2021 and contemporary drawing and painting at the University of the Arts London, Central Saint Martins in 2023.

Her work has been shown worldwide, in Ukraine, Europe, the US, and Japan. Significant exhibitions include: Tokyo Metropolitan Museum; Museum of Ukrainian Painting; Kharkiv’ International Graphic Exhibition; Kyiv History Museum; The 3rd International Triennial, Ukraine; House of National Union of Artists, Ukraine.
