Ali Cavanaugh (Born 1973) is active/lives in Missouri, New Mexico.  Ali Cavanaugh is known for Child figure and portrait painting with text.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Ali Cavanaugh is known for her child figure and portrait paintings that are accompanied by hand-cut explanatory text.  She showed early art talent and was painting commissioned portraits by age 14.  She attended the Parsons School of Design, and in 1995, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Kendall College of Art and Design. 

In 1996, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Cavanaugh co-founded the New School Academy of Fine Arts in Grand Rapids Michigan and from that time has also devoted her talents to art education.

She currently (2006) lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her husband and two children.
