Art auctions appeared in the mid-nineteenth century in England and France, jealous guardians of their empires, presenting an agile means of carrying out transactions between old and new collectors of their abundant and rich artistic heritage. For 150 years, it has been face-to-face auctions in specialized rooms or in the place of origin of the collections, which have marked the flows as well as the prices and fashions of the sector, both at the level of collecting and investment. The still recent appearance of the internet indicated that something new and transcendental would change, such a traditional but at the same time immobile sector needed a substantial expansion of the market, until then almost always developed at the local level.

"The real", "that that is not hidden", "the true", in other words: truthfulness, rigor and transparency, this is the meaning of Aletheia.
A new name and a renewed image but the same vocation of service and philosophy as always behind More than 40 years of experience.
ALETHEIA SUBASTAS is the joint project of a multidisciplinary team of people passionate about art. We share the illusion and desire to want to be different and to demonstrate another way of doing things, providing knowledge, information, discretion, honesty and the human factor.

We want to create a Contracting, brokerage and management center different from the options that exist today. Our offer is based, above all, on communication and interaction with each and every one of the people who are sensitive to art, collecting or investment who, from their home or in person, wish to BUY, SELL, EXCHANGE, GET ADVICE, or simply get to know the values and oscillations of a market as exciting as it is sometimes unknown.
The Internet has provided Art and Antiques Auctions with a universal projection, which allows a person sitting comfortably at their computer or through their mobile phone, to search, select, reflect, compare and finally bid, for that work or antique that fits their sensitivity, economy and criteria.
We will be mediators in the purchase and sale, but at the same time we will act as guarantors of quality, authenticity and price of each and every one of the pieces selected for you.
