Vlastimil Kosvanec (1887 - 1961) was active/lived in Czech Republic.  Vlastimil Kosvanec is known for Painting.

The Czech painter, graphic artist and illustrator Kosvanec studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Travels to Italy, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Albania and the Adriatic left a lasting impression on his style. Impressionist and post-impressionist elements in particular can be found in his works. Kosvanec was considered one of the best portraitists and was recognised for both his technique and his unique style. The wealthy bourgeoisie, aristocrats and influential businessmen of Prague society had their portraits painted by him. He was a member of the Umelecká Beseda group.
