Jean Chanoir

Jean Chanoir (Born 1976) is active/lives in Spain.  Jean Chanoir is known for Street Art Painting.

In early 2000 Chanoir was in Barcelona which then saw its golden age of graffiti.  It was at this time that he created the collective 1980.  He finds himself alongside graffer PEZ, The Pacifier Black, Miss Van .... Alongside his life graffiti artist he gained entry to the Beaux Arts in Paris and this is where he met Hervé Di Rosa who befriended him and offered him to exhibit his more "academic" work at the museum of Art Modeste 

In 2007, the group 1980 had it's first exhibition at "Dadawan Madturnip +" (which has now become the Nukod gallery) North Station.  Then in 2009, the group 1980 exhibits at the exhibition "Born in the Streets" at the Cartier Foundation in presenting an interactive installation.  CHANOIR exhibits Nukod in 2009 with the gallery on the living room off of the FIAC of Paris "SHOW OFF" art fair. 

Now recognized, Chanoir continues his  work on the street as well as on canvas.
