He was a member of the group Radar and is known for his artwork style of capturing the dreamy atmosphere around the Vltava river and urban landscapes. He chose everyday views of bridges, alluvium, boats, or the flowing river itself to create a certain color simplicity, harmony, and order in his artwork.
