Ilona Singer (1905 - 1944) was active/lived in Hungary, Germany.  Ilona Singer is known for Painting.

lona Singer was born in Budapest as the youngest daughter of Arnold Singer and his wife Emilie and studied at the “Vereinigte Staatsschulen für freie und angewandte Kunst” in Berlin from 1923-25. During the interwar period of modernism, she developed her own neo-Objective style under the influence of Alexander Kanoldt, among others, which was in no way inferior in quality to her great role model. From Berlin, she also undertook study trips to Switzerland, Italy and France in 1925/26 and spent several months in Rome. In autumn 1930, she took part in an exhibition of the Prague Secession for the first time. At the end of the 1930s, she married Felix Weinberger (1904-1944) and moved with him to his hometown of Hodonín. In 1943, she and her family were deported to Theresienstadt and in May 1944 they were taken to Ausschwitz, where she and her family were murdered.
