Born in Berlin, Marc Brandenburg spent his childhood in Texas.  Since 1993, he has been exclusively creating drawings in pencil, without using any color.  Brandenburg lives and works in Berlin.

Permanent installations of his works can be found at the Panorama Bar of the Berghain and the Grill Royal in Berlin.  Further works are in the collections of the Kupferstichkabinett Berlin, the Museum of Modern Art, the Kunsthalle Hamburg, the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt and the Museum der Moderne in Salzburg.
