Lottie Grow

Lottie Lyons Grow (1883 - 1981) was active/lived in Indiana.  Lottie Grow is known for Landscape, etcher.

Born in Hymeria, Indiana, and a life-long resident of that state, Lottie Grow was a painter, etcher, writer and lecturer. In Indiana, she gave the first art programs on television and radio, and she served as Art Director for the state. She also contributed articles to the Indiana Federation Club magazine where she had a column for eight years, and her writing appeared in "News Week", and "Art Digest".

She studied at the St. Louis Art Institute, the John Herron Institute of Arts and at Marian College. Teachers were Harold West and Edward Sitzman. Grow was a member of the Brown County Art Association and the Indiana Art Club. Her work is in the Riley Hospital for Crippled Children.
