Katherine Maxey Patton

Katherine Maxey Patton (1888 - 1984) was active/lived in Illinois, California.  Katherine Patton is known for Illustration, cityscape painting, mural, interior design.

Katherine Maxey Patton was born in 1888 in Wheaton, Illinois.  Her parents were Francis J. and Anna C. Maxey.  She listed her occupation in 1910 as Illustrator and Artist.  She married Alfred R. Patton in 1918.

In 1930 she was a widow living in Chicago and working as an artist/interior decorator.

In 1940 she was living in Pasadena, CA and listed her occupation as an interior decorator.   She painted many murals, paintings, both in watercolor and oil, and was a successful lifelong artist.

She died in California in 1984.
