Hubert Denis Etcheverry was born in 1867. A native of Bayonne, Etcheverry studied under the tutelage of Bonnat and Achille Zo. In 1892 he was second in the Grand Prix of Rome St, thereby quickly selected to participate at the Salon of French Artists. His talents as draftsman and colorist give his paintings a sense of the layout. He passed away in 1950 in France.
