Henry Murphy (1898 - 1965) is known for Decoy carving.

Henry Murphy was a significant carver from Davis, North Carolina who was born in 1898 and died in 1965. He was known for his rare and museum-quality pintail carvings and guided for about thirty years. One of his most loyal clients was Tom Zachary, a pitcher for the Washington Senators, who coincidentally hunted with Babe Ruth in Davis, NC on the same day. Zachary had served up Ruth's home run pitches number one and number sixty during the year Ruth crushed sixty homers
