Giulio Aristide Sartorio (1861 - 1932) was active/lived in Italy.  Giulio Sartorio is known for Painting.

Giulio Aristide Sartorio (1860-1932) is well-known as one of the most famous Italian Symbolists, alongside with artists such as Giovanni Segantini.  He was also active as a film director.  In 1889 he won a gold medal at the World Exhibition in Paris and met the Pre-Raphaelites in England in1893. 

In 1895 he was represented at the Venice Biennale.  In the following year he accepted a teaching position at the Academy of Arts in Weimar for two years.  In the 1920s, Sartorio traveled through the Middle East, Japan and Latin America. (cbo)
