Living in Boston, he exhibited extensively at the Boston Art Club, the National Academy of Design in New York City, the Poland Springs Art Gallery in Maine, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. Specializing in floral paintings, Fenetty often utilized different signatures, including F. Fenetty, F. Fenety, and F. Fenetti.
