François-Charles Baude, born in Houplines on January 10, 1880 and died in Armentières on November 26, 1953, is a French painter.

François-Charles Baude was born January 10, 1880 in Houplines.

Baude studied at the École des Beaux-Arts, the Académie Julian and the Académie Marcel Baschet in Paris.

A student of Marcel Baschet and Louis Roger, Academy Officer and Nicham Iftikhar, he is credited with paintings of figures and genre, portraits and interiors and landscapes. He exhibited at the Salon of French artists in 1908, obtained in 1908 a silver medal and in 1911 the gold medal and is put out of competition from that date.

In 1912, he received a travel grant and then exhibited in Lille, Ghent, Amsterdam and Brussels.
His works are preserved in the collection of the City of Paris, Armentières, the Ministry of the Interior, the Wanamaker collection in New York and the Simu Museum in Bucharest.
