Allesandro (Mario Mani) Baccari (1890 - 1966) was active/lived in California / Italy.  Allesandro Baccari is known for Portrait painting, photography.

Allesandro Baccari was born in Naples, Italy on November 20, 1890.  Baccari was well educated in his native land and spoke 11 languages.  In 1906, he arrived in the U.S. and entered Harvard University. 

By the 1920s, Baccari had a studio in San Francisco at 228 Grant Avenue, and a home across the bay in Ross.  Baccari  died in San Francisco on September 5, 1966.  Multitalented, he was also a musician, playwright, and photographer.

He used the pseudonym Mario Mani.
