Alfred August Felix Bachmann, German landscape - and marine painter (1863 Tczew / Vistula near Gdansk to 1956 Ambach / Upper Bavaria), attended school in Breslau, Munster, Schnepfenthal and Berlin, studied 1881 - 86 at the Academy of Konigsberg, here in 1884 - 86 master student of Max Schmidt, 1885  - 1927 Koenigsberg art exhibitions, based in Munich since 1891, exhibited from 1887 at exhibitions in Munich glass Palace, went on study trips to Schleswig - Holstein, Iceland, Scandinavia, the Scilly - Isles, Normandy, Portugal, Tenerife , Egypt and Spitsbergen in 1914 - 15 war artist in Belgium, 1920 stay in La Plata / South America, from 1941 active in Ambach on Lake Starnberg, regular summer stays in Skagen / Jutland
