Rolando Rojas

Rolando Rojas (Born 1970) is known for Paintings.

He studied Architecture at the Benito Juárez Autonomous University of Oaxaca and at the same time studied Painting and Restoration at the School of Fine Arts in Oaxaca, where he had Shinzaburo Takeda as a teacher. To complement her studies, she managed to obtain a scholarship through the State Fund for Culture and the Arts, with which she traveled to the United States to carry out an artistic residency in Pennsylvania. Being an Istmeño and an architect, his style is marked by a constructive order, great color and themes of Zapotec popular culture, fables and myths of animals such as roosters, dragonflies and lobsters. For more than 30 years, he has participated in various collective and individual exhibitions in Mexico City, as well as in California, Miami, Atlanta, Montreal, Puerto Rico, Madrid, Paris, Milan and Tokyo.
