Rivelino

Rivelino (Born 1973) is active/lives in Mexico.  Rivelino is known for Sculpture.

He is an autodidact artist and active since the 90s, whose work has developed through an artistic proposal that allows him the exploration of diverse sculptural elements for urban spaces.  In his work, the materials are like a skin that has engraved the traces of rites, beliefs and common memories of the collective Mexican unconscious.  Over time, he has developed the ability to detonate dialogues between materials and geometric objects, maintaining the importance of relief through volumes made by direct interventions on surfaces.  Thus, after an undeniable poetics, his works oscillate between the recognizable, the strange and the mysterious.  In addition, his work is not governed by the fashion line, but rather for the purpose of satisfying personal taste.
