Jorge Vieira (1922 - 1998) was active/lived in Portugal.  Jorge Vieira is known for Neofigurative sculpture and painting.

Jorge Vieira was a Portuguese artist who attended the Escola Superior de Belas Artes in Lisbon and the Slade School of Fine Arts in London. He studied under Henry Moore and Red Butler. Vieira collaborated with several sculptors in Lisbon and excelled in painting. He was awarded several prizes and exhibited his work in Brussels, the Gulbenkian Foundation, and the Bienal de S. Paulo. Vieira created sculptures for various buildings in Lisbon and for international exhibitions in Rio de Janeiro and Osaca. One of his sculptures, "O Homem-Sol," is located in Parque das Nações in Lisbon, where there is also an exhibition room named after him.
