Romolo Pergola (1890 - 1960) was active/lived in France, Italy.  Romolo Pergola is known for Landscape painting, church decoration.

Romolo Pergola studied at the Academy of Fine Arts with Enrico Simonetti. In 1909 he was in Paris where he continued to work and study oil painting until 1914. After the war he moved to Camogli, Italy where he perfected his landscape painting and the use of pastel, drawing inspiration from the places of the Ligurian Riviera di Levante .

In 1937 he was commissioned to decorate the church of San Antonio in Boccadasse.

His works have been exhibited in Paris, Rome and Genoa: the last posthumous exhibition was in 1997 in his hometown, Camogli. His subjects include expensive places at the Pergola, villages such as of San Fruttuoso di Camogli, the cliff of Mulinetti or the sea front to the creeks of the Ligurian coast.

Many of his canvases are bright, sun-flooded canvases, with a wide and fast brushstroke able to define with few strokes the most beautiful places on the Riviera so dear to him.
