Ion Grigore was an artist from Romania who made his debut in 1965 in Bucharest after studying at the “Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Fine Arts with colleagues Paul Miracovici, Gheorghe Popescu, and Gheorghe Labin. His artwork was often inspired by the Romanian village and its folk traditions, and he held personal exhibitions in Bucharest and participated in group events and exhibitions in Europe
