James L. Kendrick III (20/21st century) is active/lives in Louisiana.  James Kendrick III is known for River boat and city scenes.

James L. Kendrick III began drawing at six and painting at the age of eight.  He studied Art & Architecture at the University of Southwestern Louisiana with a minor in History.  After college he joined the Army and received training as a helicopter pilot and aviation mechanics and after a tour in Vietnam was honorably discharged. 

After six years in advertising he resigned to pursue a career of oil painting.  Since that time many of his paintings have been reproduced as Limited Edition Prints.  Mr. Kendrick has won numerous awards in juried art shows throughout the southeast and his paintings hang in public, private, and corporate collections throughout the country. He is best known for his realistic paintings of Southern Antebellum homes and historic old New Orleans.
