William Feron

William Feron (1858 - 1894) was active/lived in Sweden.  William Feron is known for Painting.

William Feron was born in 1858, in Stockholm, Sweden. He was the son of the famous jeweler Ludwig Constantin Feron, owner of Möllenborgs, the largest jewelry firm in Sweden. William first studied art at the Tekniska Skolan and then at the Art Academy in Stockholm. In 1880, he travelled to Paris, working in the city for most of the decade. William exhibited at the Paris Salon between 1882 and 1885. In 1889, he exhibited at the Exposition Universelle. William Feron is regarded as one of the first Swedish artists influenced by the Impressionist Movement. His work, 'Spring in Paris' is in the collection of The Gothenburg Museum of Art in Sweden. William Feron died in 1894.
