Artist Biography & Facts
Stesi

Stesi (21st century) is known for Urban Painting.

When Stesi began in graffiti in 1997, it was the throw-up, flop style, that he preferred.  These round letters quickly executed, he oversimplified to make a kind of logo, enabling him to write his name on a variety of media, mostly illegal.  After some troubles with the law, Stesi was tired of having to constantly find new Parisian walls that he gradually abandoned the wild graffiti and lot of adrenaline to turn to the canvas.

The street artist, in this more traditional practice, had the opportunity to perfect his technique in the field of the abstract.  He enjoys his work style with time, calm and discipline, and enjoys using various media including aerosols, sprays, acrylic, ink and marker.  Today a prolific artist, linking tables and exhibitions, he sometimes still, on command, signs his name on shops or trucks.
