Salvador Viniegra Y Lasso (1862 - 1915) was active/lived in Spain.  Salvador Viniegra Y Lasso is known for Genre themes and history painting.

Salvador Viniegra was a Spanish artist who studied Law before turning to painting. He entered the School of Fine Arts in Cadiz and later moved to Rome as a pensioner of merit to further his studies. 

He mainly focused on genre themes and history painting and won numerous awards and medals for his work. He was also a patron of the arts, published a book, and was the author of several zarzuelas. 

During his mature years, he held various important posts in Spain and was decorated with several honors. He is currently represented in various museums in Spain
