Paul Felgentreff was a German landscape and genre painter born in 1854 in Potsdam and died in 1933 in Munich. Paul studied at the Academy in Leipzig with Nieper from 1876-79 and later became a lecturer for lithography there from 1879-84. Felgentreff continued his studies at the Academy in Munich with Seitz and Defregger. 

He attended the Great Art Exhibitions in Berlin, Munich, and Dresden from 1891 and was a member of the Reichsverband Bildender Künstler Deutschlands and the Munich Artists' Association. Paul was active in Munich and is known for his landscape and genre paintings in lithography.
