Mohammad Mohreddin

Mohammad Mohreddin (Born 1938) is active/lives in Iraq.  Mohammad Mohreddin is known for Painting.

A pioneer of Iraqi art in the 60s and 70s, his studies at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts had a major impact on his work. He was particularly inspired by abstract movements, street art, constructivism and political posters. On his return to Iraq, affected by military coups, his art became engaged. In 1969, Muhraddin, along with other artists, founded the New Vision group, an artistic movement of political activism.
