Xavier Vilató i Ruiz, Spanish - French painter and graphic artist (1921 Barcelona and 2000 Paris). 1939 - 45 partially through the second World War interrupted stay in Paris, lives in 1946 in Paris and in the summer months mostly in the Mediterranean in 1957 - 60 stay in Barcelona 1968 results in a 2.4 x 5.5 m large mural in Napoli about the destruction of Pompeii and a relief of 3 x 8 m for the Art Museum of Neuchâtel, 1970 first stay in Sweden, 1980 solo exhibition at the cultural Yverdon / Switzerland 1984 - 86 numerous commissions for public space.
